Mohammad Modarres modeled Roshanak's father.



Reza Ramezani modeled and textured Roshanak's mother.



Ali Chenari modeled Roshanak the main protagonist.



Layouts were done by Reza Ramezani and Adib Souly. Adib Souly also did the final layouts for the end sequence as well as smoke and fire simulations. Rain simulations were created by Reza Ramezani.

All of the character animations were done by Saman Khorram except for one sequence where Farhad Youssefi animated the father.

Alireza Nassr did most of the texture painting as well as some secondary concepts and props modeling.

Lighting, compositing and rendering were done (and are still being done) by Reza Ghobady

The story is based on an original idea by Ali Chenari and the script was written by Danesh Gueeti and Arman Aryan.

The short movie is directed by Ali Chenari.

Storyboards were done by Hamed Kamali.

The character concepts were done by Hassan Tabrizi


and Soheil Danesh Eshraghi designed most of the environments.



Kian Kiani designed the last sequence's environment.

"Baran" is our latest short film that is currently in the last stages of production. It is a 9 minute short film based on an original idea by Ali Chenari http://alichenari.cgsociety.org and written by Danesh Gueeti and Arman Aryan.

"Baran" is the story of a little curious girl called Roshanak who lives with her parents.



Everyday she watches the rain from her bedroom window as it pours into their garden and is fascinated by it as it stops as suddenly as it has started and starts pouring on the other side of their home.



She decides to ask her parents about it in order to understand why the rain pours intermittently on each side of her home but her parents have become used to the strange rain pattern and their replies do not satisfy her curiosity.



Roshanak finally decides that she has to find out why the rain pours differently on her home, and one night when everyone's asleep she quietly starts climbing the stairs that lead to their home's rooftop.



She finally reaches their rooftop after a few strange turns and she is amazed to discover that .......
